A Brief Understanding of $DOGE in 2022

Ready to Staking DOGE?

The founder of Ethereum is ready to turn Doge into a Proof of Stake.

As we know, the consensus used by Dogecoin is Proof of Work (PoW). In other words, to authorize a transaction, mining activity is required.

Well, this time the plan will make $DOGE stakeable later.

1st Trailmap

According to the twitter account @DogecoinFdn announced the first trailmap of the Dogecoin Foundation after being formed in August 2021. This trailmap contains details of the project and activities the team will undertake.

Proof of Stake

If on the previous slide, we can see a list of this trailmap. One that attracts attention is the last number two, namely: Proposal Community Stacking (Proof of Stake). The plan is that later this $DOGE coin can be staked because the consensus that will be used is Proof of Stake (PoS).

Working With Vitalic Butterin

In developing this PoS consensus, the Dogecoin Foundation will collaborate with the Founder of Ethereum, Vitalik Buttering. As we know, Buttering is also included in the ranks of the Advisors of the Dogecoin Foundation.

All Users Can Stake

If using PoS, it is expected that users and holders of $DOGE can be more generous and participate in validating transactions on the network. “The PoS version will allow everyone, not just the big players to participate in a way that rewards them for their contribution to running the network, and at the same time giver back to the whole community through charitable causes”.
